I am moving my blog from WordPress to Blogger because of technical problems. The new blog is called Thornfield Hall Redux and the new url is:
https://thornfieldhallredux.blogspot.com/
I will continue to stop by here and announce new posts to read at Thornfield Hall Redux.
Cheers to all, and I hope you will continue to read the blog at Blogger.
I always find a problem commenting on Blogger, I will try. Good luck, and so sorry WP could not help you. Crazy! Keep me in the loop. x
Your comment showed up. Thank you!
Grand. Good luck.
Good luck with the move! I, too, have had technical problems with wordpress. Most of them the techies could fix, one they couldn’t but it eventually righted itself (it involved Safari). I like your blog very much and will continue to try and follow it, but like Jane I’ve had major problems trying to leave comments on blogspot. But — I’ll try!
Oh — forgot to add that I’ve been checking out Hortense Callisher (that southern Jewish background reminds me a bit of Lillian Hellman). Thanks for the tip!
She’s great. And yes, she knows as much about the south as she does New York.
Well, do try to visit! I don’t guarantee the comments, but so far so good.
I’ve had a WordPress blog for years. Finally got things working the way I want, and then their techies “improved” things, so now I have a bunch of new stuff to figure out. Their improvements are our pains in the ass, that’s what I think. If I wanted to spend time learning how to navigate my blog over again instead of just getting an entry posted quick ‘n’ easy … but no, that would just be too simple wouldn’t it. The March of Progress. PFFT.

Yes, it used to be so easy, really a pleasant experience. The block format is really a mess. And I don’t have time to go to computer training to figure it out myself.
Yay!
Thanks!
